ABOUT

The mission of the Lingleville Volunteer Fire Department is to provide a professional level of community fire protection, emergency medical and rescue services to the citizens and property owners within the community of Lingleville and surrounding areas, in order to prevent or minimize the loss of life, pain, and suffering and property damage as a result of fire or other type of emergency.

The Fire Department's mission will be accomplished by the effective use of it's volunteers and physical resources, in cooperation with other public agencies, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, innovative techniques, and available technology to provide a high level of cost efficient, quality services.

ABOUT

"I have no ambition in this world but one, and that is to be a fireman. The position may, in the eyes of some, appear to be a lowly one; but we who know the work which the fireman has to do believe that his is a noble calling. Our proudest moment is to save lives. Under the impulse of such thoughts, the nobility of the occupation thrills us and stimulates us to deeds of daring, even of supreme sacrifice."
